Dr. Tim Bednall
Head of Data Science
Tim is an organisational psychologist, academic, and data scientist. Tim is passionate about using data, research and evidence to help people, teams and organisations to face complex challenges and make better decisions.
As an organisational behaviour and human resource management academic, Tim possesses a strong general knowledge of both fields, with a specialisation in employee learning, innovation and people analytics. Tim has taught postgraduate courses on advanced statistics (including experimental design, structural equation modelling, multilevel analysis, longitudinal analysis, meta-analysis, psychometrics and Monte Carlo simulations).
Tim has worked in a diverse range of roles in the commercial, not-for-profit and tertiary sectors, including current Senior Lecturer at Swinburne University, Deloitte, UNSW, Red Cross Blood Service, Chandler Macleod, NSW Transport and PTG Global. From 2015-2018, Tim served as the National Chair of the APS College of Organisational Psychologists.
